Your account and privacy

Signing in​

Sign in with Apple, or with your email address and a six-digit code we email you.

Your menu​

Tap your face at the top right. From there you can:

  • make or change your character, the look everyone in your circles sees;
  • see your karma;
  • open Help, which is this site;
  • open Settings.

Settings​

Tap your face at the top right, then Settings. There you can:

  • change your name in the circle you're looking at. Your other circles keep the name you have there;
  • choose Light, Dark or System appearance for this phone;
  • turn notifications on or off for this phone;
  • Sign out.

Signing out also turns off notifications on this phone, disconnects the iMessage app, and removes the group chats you connected on this phone.

Privacy, in short​

  • We never send a message for you. BoonMe can fill in a message, but you always tap Send.
  • We never collect phone numbers. There's no phone sign-in, and the people you pick for your group chat stay on your phone.
  • Your circle can see the calendars you bring in when they plan the week. See Calendar.
